We are under ~ 2ft of snow. My dear husband cleaned off my car for me yesterday, but I don't need it because the entire state of RI is CLOSED.

Blogging & Journaling
I now have an online journal at livejournal.com. See it here:

This was mainly so I would be able to set up a community for the members of the SADD group that I advise at work and will be generally work-related.
I do not understand the difference between blogging and journaling, but I do know that I like blogger.com much better than livejournal.com.

I'm an idiot...
I forgot my password. Then I got lazy, swamped and sick, but now I'm back. Mostly.
Wow. I just noticed that HG Wells has visited my blog. Sorry to hear you found it lame, HG. See above for my excuse. To tell you the truth, I've never read any of your work. I was a math major. I agree that Amazon.com and the NYT list are poor sources for book referrals. Check out Booksense.com and support your local independent bookseller! If you want to get rid of that maple syrup, I know someone who'll take it.
Hopefully, more exciting things will happen in my life soon that will make my blog worth reading...

Ta Dah!!
I've jumped on the bandwagon. Actually, I wanted to comment on Drue's blog but I needed to register first, so I figured, might as well do the whole thing.
I just know you want to ask: what does that title mean?! People who do not use their directionals when driving is my biggest pet peeve (just ask my husband how often I hound him about it). I want a bumper sticker that says this on it. I want to be able to report people who don't do it. For now I must settle for the Car Talk dope slap.
It's about communication! Communicate your intentions clearly and people will get it--they might not like your plan--but at least they will be informed, and they probably won't get angry.
